Members of TA Bronx Committee have decided to sponsor a monthly ride called "Bike the Bronx" to promote biking in our borough. We hope to attract Bronxites, as well as visitors. The ride will be held on the 3rd Sunday of the month, and the route will change each month.

Bike the Bronx in June will follow the Bronx River. We found this a fitting tribute since the borough was actually named after this river. Cyclists will follow the river north to 233 St in Bronx Park. There riders will have the option to turn around and stay in the park, or continue into Westchester and ride the car-free Bronx River Parkway for Bicycle Sundays. The final destination will be the Kensico Dam.
