Due to snow and rescheduling, we just had our make-up February meeting
and rather than have a regular March meeting so soon after, we are doing something a little bit different (and fun!) this month.

The Brooklyn Greenway project is having a workshop on March 25th (what would be our normal meeting time) and we thought it would be a great opportunity to meet, learn, and represent. Afterward, we'll head on over to The Henry Public for a quick meeting of our own, and some socializing!

In April, we'll resume the normal schedule, meeting the last Thursday of the month (*April, 29th, 7pm at Long Island College Hospital) to *discuss fun Brooklyn events during May Bike Month!

NYC DOT Greenway Workshop

Community planning workshops for the Brooklyn Waterfront Greenway, led by NYC Department of Transportation, will begin on Thursday, March 25th. The community workshops will inform DOT's master plan for constructing the greenway, so please mark your calendars and tell your neighbors. Four workshops will be held, one in each broad geographic area along the planned 14-mile route. Brooklyn Greenway Initiative and Regional Plan Association are co-sponsoring the workshops.
