Indoor Bicycle Parking

The lack of secure indoor bicycle parking is often cited as the primary reason recreational cyclists do not also cycle to work. T.A. is working hard for indoor bicycle parking and we need your support!

At present, T.A. is working with Council Member David Yassky and others to secure a hearing for Intro. 38, the Bikes in Buildings Bill. This piece of legislation will amend the City’s administrative code to require building owners and managers to provide reasonable ways in which employees may access their building with a bicycle. T.A. knows that allowing bicycles in buildings presents the greatest cost-benefit ration of any zero emissions urban transportation or green building retrofitting initiative.
