Bronx Hit and Run Victim Mourned

Jimmy Mimnagh, age 62, was struck and killed by a driver as he cycled along Shore Road toward City Island on Sunday, October 18. In his honor over thirty family members, friends and T.A. members held a memorial service on Saturday, October 24 at the site where the car mowed him down. During the memorial service his brother shared with the crowd how his brother had "lived and died for cycling."
John Giannico, 28, of New Rochelle, who drove the sport utility vehicle that struck Mimnagh, was charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
