NYMTC provided information about the metropolitan planning process and relevant federalfunding programs at the second annual New York City Greenway Summit on May 29 at HunterCollege. The summit brought together community leaders, advocates, government employees,elected officials, planners and greenway users from around the City. The summit was hosted byeleven community-based organizations working within the five boroughs. NYMTC’spresentation was part of recent efforts to explain the planning process and various fundingprograms to community groups and other non-governmental organizations.
