Central Park should be free of cars for the summer, according to a transportation watchdog group.Transportation Alternatives was joined by several local lawmakers yesterday as it called for a traffic-free Central Park this summer so that people can stroll, jog, play ball and bicycle without car pollution."We're here to say if you're in a car and you want to get around Manhattan, you're better off going around Central Park," said Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer.
