Due to snow and rescheduling, we just had our make-up February meeting (see minutes here) and rather than have a regular March meeting so soon after, we are doing something a little bit different (and fun!) this month.

The Brooklyn Greenway project is having the first of a series of DOT-run community planning workshops on March 25th (what would be our normal meeting time) and we thought it would be a great opportunity to meet, learn, and represent.

NYC DOT Greenway Workshop

Thursday's workshop will cover the section of the Greenway within CB2.  That portion starts at Kent & Division, follows the east and south sides of the Navy Yard (along Kent Ave and Flushing Ave), then goes through DUMBO, adjacent to Brooklyn Bridge Park on Furman St, ending at Atlantic Avenue.

Afterward, we'll head on over to The Henry Public for a quick meeting of our own, and of course drinks!

In April, we'll resume the normal schedule, meeting the last Thursday of the month (April, 29th, 7pm at Long Island College Hospital) to discuss fun Brooklyn events during May Bike Month!
