The success of the Car-Free Prospect Park Campaign lies with Transportation Alternative's many dedicated volunteers. Throughout this campaign, we have relied on local volunteers to take the lead and make this campaign a success.

Contact Mayor Bloomberg
The ultimate decision to make Prospect Park car-free rests with Mayor Bloomberg and his Department of Transportation. Send an e-postcard to Mayor Bloomberg, calling for a 3-month car-free Prospect Park trial.

Write to your Council Member
If you live near Prospect Park, write to your City Council Member and ask for their support for a car-free park. Three of the four members who have districts abutting the park are supportive (Yassky, De Blasio, James), and one member is not supportive (Eugene); they need to hear from their constituents about this issue.
