FIBORO BRIDGES

145th Street Bridge

Spans the Harlem River.

Walkway/Bikeway on the southern and northern sides; there’s some uneven rubbery stuff at the Manhattan end and the rest is a little bumpy, but overall no complaints.

Manhattan entrance:
145th Street and Lenox Avenue.

Bronx entrance:
149th Street and River Avenue.

Comment from a Web site visitor (April 29, 2003):

"The lights are frequently broken. When they are, the sidewalk path is pitch black and cyclists are blinded by head light glare."
