Campaign History

Residents and community leaders of the Bronx and Northern Manhattan are working to modernize and improve safety and accessibility features on streets near area bridges, including the 145th Street Bridge, University Heights Bridge, Willis Avenue Bridge, and Madison Avenue Bridge. Tens of thousands of people use these connectors on a daily basis. For far too long, proposals for life-saving infrastructure improvements have been ignored. We need protected bike lanes, pedestrian amenities, and other safety improvements on our bridges, to better connect our neighborhoods.
