Now, against all odds, T.A.'s Bikes in Buildings legislation, Intro. 781, has reached the City Council. Working with bill co-sponsors Council Members David Yassky and Gale Brewer, T.A. is preparing for a hearing scheduled to take place in early December 2008 in the Transportation Committee of City Council. T.A. knows that allowing bicycles in buildings presents the greatest cost-benefit ration of any zero emissions urban transportation or green building retrofitting initiative.
