Tour de Staten Island - April 21, 2024
This scenic ride guides over 1,500 cyclists through the borough's most breathtaking and lesser-known landscapes. Both the 35 and 50 mile routes explore Staten Island's gems and observe striking oceanfront views of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge and New York Harbor. The ride culminates in a finish festival with food, drinks and fun activities.
Tour de Staten Island is great for riders of all ages, abilities and riding styles, and supports Transportation Alternatives’s advocacy for safe streets.
Vision Zero Cities - October 16-18, 2024
Vision Zero Cities convenes hundreds of leaders from around the world who are committed to creating safer streets for everyone.
The urgency for Vision Zero has never been greater. Expect dynamic programming with keynote speakers, field tours, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities with like-minded professionals. You will gain valuable insights, learn from international best practices, and discover cutting-edge solutions that can be applied in your own city. Together, we can achieve a future where no loss of life or serious injuries occur on our streets.a
Streets for People Party
JUNE 5, 2024 - Museum of the Moving Image, Astoria, Queens
The Streets for People Party is TA’s annual benefit that brings together transportation advocates, urban planners, and community leaders to celebrate what’s possible when we put people first on our streets. Sponsoring this event is one of the most impactful ways that you can help fuel the movement for better walking, biking, and public transit in New York City.
Pedestrian Prom
SEPTEMBER
Double-knot those shoes, strap on that helmet, load up that Metrocard, and make your way to a summer soiree. We celebrate some of our most fearless activists from all over the city and take a moment to gather and reflect on all that we have accomplished and the road still ahead. This event features our annual Activist of the Year Awards to celebrate change makers across the five boroughs! Sponsorship includes a vendor table, social media shout outs across TA’s channels, and logo inclusion on: event webpage, signage, and emails.

JUNE
This free, family-friendly event seeks to address the dramatic gender disparities in cycling in New York City. This is an annual event that takes place in the Bronx or Queens.

Commuter Stations are held at 10 high-traffic areas across the 5 boroughs. Engage with thousands of pedestrians and cyclists and celebrate Bike Month with us!

Tour de Flushing
SUMMER/FALL
Join TA for a 20-mile bike tour of Northeast Queens featuring beautiful parks, greenways, and protected bike lanes. The ride starts and ends in downtown Flushing, where participants are encouraged to enjoy the local food scene.
