Streets and sidewalks make up 80% of our public space in New York City. We’ve won many transformative changes, but too many neighborhoods have to deal with reckless drivers, slow bus service, and a scarcity of safe walking and biking infrastructure. Transportation Alternatives believes that this public space belongs to the people of New York City, and we are working with New Yorkers in every borough to reclaim our streets.
